CRL GREATER SOUTHERN ACADEMY PROGRAM
The Greater Southern Region Group 7 Academy will be will hosting open trials for all 2013 Under 18 Players at Mollymook Oval on Tuesday 25th September & at the Kiama Showground on Thursday 27th September starting at 6:00pm.
The CRL Academy Program is designed to bring players from their development phase in the CRL Junior League system to Senior Representation and a career pathway in Rugby League by providing avenues for selection into Country Representative Teams and also a pathway to NRL Representation. The opportunities offered through the CRL Academy Program are limitless depending on the players aspirations and willingness to put in the hard work that is needed to succeed at the very highest level. Over the year’s a number of Academy Players have gone on to play in the National Under 20’s Competition and also the NRL.
The program includes:
• A live in weekend camp in November
• Mid-Week training and development skills sessions from November-February
• Weights programs, Fitness programs, Nutrition, Hydration and Psychology lectures.
• Pre Season matches against NRL Development Squads.
Player’s will experience high quality coaching with Group 7 Representative Coaches coordinating the Program with the St George Illawarra Dragons and the NSWRL State of Origin Coaching Staff also providing assistance.
